Health & Safety

Today we discussed the health and safety of students and filming, understanding what risks there are, and being aware of what if safe, and what is passing the boundaries which could lead to disqualification.

I have been show, and I can do the following to a safe standard.
Taking the camera out of the bag, inserting and removing the memory cards, making sure the camera is set up correctly for filming, and I am able to securely set up the ipod, as well as placing the camera securely on the tripod.

In order to use the camera outside the building at any time, I agree to the following:
Telling our teacher the exact location, leaving a address, leaving contact details as well as having the college contact details also. Always filming in a safe manner. Not changing any of the camera settings unless needed e.g. ND filter for a powerfully bright day.

NOT to use mains electricity for equipment, always use batteries.
We want to use spot lights and wind machines and for this we need a mains electricity supply, our teacher is aware of this and we have her consent, so we will go forward with using the mains electricity.

Furthermore not to break the law, which includes trespassing, and always asking for permission to film individuals and locations.

I agree to all the factors above, and understand the Health and Safety risks, and will follow these rules as it will only be for me and my groups wealth being.
