After careful consideration thinking about our genre, theme and song choice we have decided upon Samarges outfits (as there has to be at least 3 changes) and mine and Karens outfits (dancer costumes.) We have taken inspiration from current rnb, pop, soul artists, looked at what their trends are, what makes them unique and what makes them original. However many artists wear the same thing, a simple yet stylish look, for instance, white t-shirt, jeans, shoes and a blazer. Here are the examples of what our main singer will be wearing:
Here are a few famous and successful music artists which we have be inspired by, fashion wise.
For myself and Karen we will be wearing leggings, airforces/hightops, loose tops, jumpers, and a snapback. We do not want tight tops as this will convey the idea of women only being sexual objects, so we want to be seen as something more, eye contact with camera will also be made to show equal power between the main singer and us dancers. This is a modern interpretation of a dancers outfit, as our dance style is based around sift rb which is street.
We have taken inspiration from artists such as Teyana Taylor, Ciara & Cassie.
