Reflecting on skills learnt in June- lip sync tutorial.

We learnt how to successfully carry out base track editing. I realised editing a thriller opening and a music video are two very different things, and a music video will be harder to accomplish. With a thriller we could just put a clip one after the other without worrying about it exactly fitting to music, however with music videos the lip syncing has to match with the song so base track editing, lining up each shots so that the lip syncing is in time with the music, has to be used. We filmed it a few times the whole song from different angles, and synched only once into final cut pro. Then we cut to the beat, and delete.
